LECTURES AND WORKSHOP
ON CROATIAN SCIENCE, LANGUAGE AND CULTURE

The joint presentation of the project with lectures and workshops on Croatian science, language and culture will take place at the end of February 2023 in New Zealand. Presentations and lectures on Croatian cultural, literary and scientific heritage will be held by the project manager prof. Luka Budak (Macquarie University, Sydney) and colleagues, Marijana Borić Ph. D. (HAZU) and Josip Lasić Ph. D. (University of Zadar).
In addition to lectures and workshops, the virtual exhibition “The World Reach of Croatian Science” will be presented (Exhibition organizer: Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts; exhibition partner: National and University Library in Zagreb) and an educational workshop for children and young people “Faust Vrančić – Croatian Leonardo da Vinci“.
After they have visited Whangarei, Kaitaia and Dargaville the week before they will be presenting the virtual exhibition at the club on Saturday 25th February at 2.00pm
Suitable for members of all ages. Great for family groups.

This is a collaborative effort with the Dalmatian Cultural Society and the Dalmatian Archive and Museum.
